Our facilities and services include:

Designated consultation rooms – We have consultation rooms with computerised record systems to enable rapid and efficient access to your pet’s records. Each consultation room also has air conditioning and heating facilities to ensure you and your pet are kept as comfortable as possible.
Operating theatre – We have an operating theatre with a wide range of surgical equipment to enable us to carry out routine or more complex surgery.
Separate preparation area – This enables us to thoroughly prepare your pets for surgery.
Modern anaesthetic machines - We also have a range of anaesthetic monitoring equipment that assist our fully qualified registered nurses in safely monitoring your pet whilst he/she is anaesthetised.
In-house ultrasound machine – It helps us to carry out detailed, non-invasive examinations of internal organs in the body. We can also use the ultrasound machine to diagnose pregnancies and scan tendons in horses.
In-house laboratory - This enables us to carry out a wide range of tests on-site, meaning that we usually receive your pet’s results on the same day. We also have digital dental X-ray facilities that provide high quality images immediately.

Endoscopy - Our endoscope permits in-depth examination for a range of cases, enabling us to diagnose conditions that may otherwise be difficult to detect.
ECG machine - This enables us to assess the electrical activity of the heart. It can complement the cardiac investigations we can perform with ultrasound and/or X-ray.
Dentistry - We have a specialist dental unit which permits ultrasonic descaling and extraction. Our digital dental X-ray facilities also enable us to carry out pre and post-extraction assessments of teeth with minimal X-ray exposure as and when necessary.
Pet passport service - Our vets are able to provide pet passports for your high-flying pets. We advise that you research your pet’s requirements for the specific country you will be travelling to. (Visit www.defra.gov.uk for more information).
Pet pharmacy - Our on-site pharmacy means that we can provide your pet with a wide range of prescribed medication rapidly and efficiently. If we do not have the item in stock, our daily ordering service means that we will usually have the item the following day. If you require a repeat prescription, we ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice and also bear in mind that we usually need to have seen your pet for a consultation within 3-6 months dependent on the condition that is being treated. We are also able to provide written prescriptions upon request, following regular check-ups.
Food ordering service – Not only do we sell a wide range of pet food in our waiting room, but we’re also able to provide a wide range of veterinary diets to help maintain the health and wellbeing of your pet. If we do not have the food you require in stock, we can usually have the item the following day (if ordered before 6 pm from Monday - Thursday).
Pet insurance - If your pet is insured, and you wish to make a claim for veterinary treatment, we can make that claim for you. All we ask is that you pay us for any treatment undertaken, bring in your pet’s claim form (with the sections you are required to complete, filled in with up to date policy details). We will fill in the veterinary section, send the form away for you and if applicable, your insurance company will reimburse you directly.
